IAE Nancy School of Management

Nancy

In a rapidly changing environment, IAE Nancy School of Management reaffirms its mission: to educate and integrate responsible managers who are aware of major contemporary challenges and capable of contributing to the transformation of organizations in the context of ecological, digital, and societal transitions. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a cross-cutting pillar of our development strategy. Training managers who are aware of the challenges facing organizations and society also means taking concrete action: promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, reducing our environmental impact, and positioning our institution as a committed stakeholder within its regional ecosystem.

IAE Nancy School of Management is today a key player in higher education and research in management sciences in the Lorraine region of France. The school offers a comprehensive and attractive range of programs covering the full spectrum of management, business administration, and organizational studies, from undergraduate (Bachelor’s level) to Master’s and Doctoral degrees.

In line with the evolving needs of businesses and organizations, IAE Nancy relies on around thirty specialized and multidisciplinary programs. These programs are supported by strong professional, academic, and institutional partnerships that reinforce the school’s connection with the socio-economic environment.

As an active member of the national network IAE France, which brings together 36 university-based schools of management across France, IAE Nancy fully embraces its role as a “University School of Management.” In this capacity, the institution provides high-level degree programs designed in close collaboration with companies and characterized by strong graduate employability rates.

The school’s mission, reflecting its economic and social responsibility, is to prepare the managers and leaders of tomorrow to address the challenges facing modern society. It aims to equip students with the knowledge, practical skills, and interpersonal competencies required for rapid and effective integration into the professional world.

Hu-Man principles

Because Human Resource Management must above all focus on real work and on the women and men who carry it out, we have chosen to engage with Hu-Man to align our initiatives with operational principles that help organizations progress. Over the past three years, this collaboration has provided a structured framework supporting the pillars of social cohesion, inclusion, and gender equality, all serving the objective of sustainable performance. In practical terms, Hu-Man contributes directly to our teaching activities, and our students obtain Hu-Man certification each year. These contributions are integrated into a program that combines strong professional orientation—particularly through work-study placements and practical simulations—with high academic standards. This balance lies at the heart of the Master’s program in Human Resource Management (DSRH) at IAE Nancy School of Management, which is affiliated with the Réseau Référence RH and widely recognized for its close connections with professional environments.
