La Confiserie Des Hautes Vosges

CDHV

Open to visits since its creation, the Confiserie Des Hautes Vosges welcomes individuals, families and groups all year round to share the secrets of making real sweets from Les Vosges. In 2023, we became the 3rd most visited company in France with more than 260,000 visitors!

Coming from a family of forestry workers, Jean-Marie CLAUDEPIERRE was logically destined to succeed his father, his grandfather and his great-grandfather. It was different when he married Myriam HESTIN, daughter and granddaughter of a candy merchant. The vocation became obvious!

In 1986, Jean-Marie, joining forces with his brother Bernard and his sister Marie-Jeanne, founded the Confiserie Des Hautes Vosges, born from the purchase of the Confiserie des Images d’Epinal, existing since 1952. They naturally established themselves in the family land in their native village in PLAINFAING (Vosges – France) starting this adventure in an 80 m2 workshop.

In 35 years, growing from 80 to 2,000 m2 and today having around fifty employees, the company remains a family business. Indeed, in 2010, Jean-Marie, Bernard and Marie-Jeanne passed on the management of confectionery to Fabienne (Business Manager, daughter of Jean-Marie) and Pascal (Production Director, son of Marie-Jeanne) as well as the artisanal know-how.

Originally, La Confiserie Des Hautes Vosges was a family business where human values have always been at the core of its daily life! In addition, customer satisfaction depends largely on the development of its employees and the quality of their commitment. New issues such as professional and territorial attractiveness are one of the top priorities for a company if it wants to continue its economic growth but also welcome new generations in the best conditions. This is the reason why La Confiserie Des Hautes Vosges decided to commit to the Hu-Man label approach which will allow it to better meet these expectations, while respecting the initial human commitments which make up the DNA of our company.
