Coming from a family of forestry workers, Jean-Marie CLAUDEPIERRE was logically destined to succeed his father, his grandfather and his great-grandfather. It was different when he married Myriam HESTIN, daughter and granddaughter of a candy merchant. The vocation became obvious!
In 1986, Jean-Marie, joining forces with his brother Bernard and his sister Marie-Jeanne, founded the Confiserie Des Hautes Vosges, born from the purchase of the Confiserie des Images d’Epinal, existing since 1952. They naturally established themselves in the family land in their native village in PLAINFAING (Vosges – France) starting this adventure in an 80 m2 workshop.
In 35 years, growing from 80 to 2,000 m2 and today having around fifty employees, the company remains a family business. Indeed, in 2010, Jean-Marie, Bernard and Marie-Jeanne passed on the management of confectionery to Fabienne (Business Manager, daughter of Jean-Marie) and Pascal (Production Director, son of Marie-Jeanne) as well as the artisanal know-how.
